The no-nonsense guide to SIMcredible’s Vodafone Red range
If you’re looking at a Vodafone SIM through SIMcredible, you’ve got three plans to choose from — all on the Red network, all rolling monthly, and all with no credit checks or contracts. This guide cuts through the noise so you can pick the right one first time.
The three plans at a glance
| Plan | Data | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Red 6GB | 6GB | £12/month |
| Red 24GB | 24GB | £14/month |
| Red Unlimited (Red Max) | Unlimited | £21.50/month |
*Red Unlimited rises to £21.50 from 1st April 2026. It is currently priced at £19.50.
All three plans include unlimited UK calls and texts, 5G capability, and Wi-Fi calling on supported handsets. No contract means you can switch, downgrade, or cancel at any time.
Who should pick which?
Red 6GB — £12/month
A great fit if you’re on Wi-Fi most of the day — at home, at work, or at university. 6GB covers everyday browsing, messaging, maps, and the odd YouTube video without breaking a sweat. At £12, it’s hard to beat for straightforward, affordable mobile.
Best for: light users, people mostly on Wi-Fi, anyone watching their spending.
Red 24GB — £14/month
The sweet spot for most people. 24GB gives you plenty of headroom for streaming music on the commute, social media, video calls, and general use — without paying for unlimited data you won’t use. Two pounds more than the 6GB plan for a lot more breathing room.
Best for: everyday users who stream, scroll, and video call without being on Wi-Fi all day.
Red Unlimited (Red Max) — £21.50/month from 1st April
If you genuinely don’t want to think about data, this is it. Unlimited data, 5G speeds, and hotspot capability. Worth noting: from 1st April 2026 this plan increases to £21.50/month. If you’re currently on it and that price no longer works for you, you can switch down at any time — no penalty, no fuss.
Best for: heavy streamers, remote workers hotspotting laptops, people who just want unlimited data and not to think about it.
